The “National Agrarian Summit: Peasant, Ethnic and of the People” will take place on March 15-17 in Bogota, capital of Colombia, aiming to establish a common program and define a political and social action agenda among the different agrarian and popular sectors. The Summit expects to reach these goals by exchanging experiences, perceptions and ways of working of the Colombian social and popular movement. The goal is to create paths and dialogue and negotiation mechanisms to strengthen their social processes and rural life as a whole. Real World Radio will be in Bogota covering this Summit, which is a step further of the National Agrarian Strike held by the South American popular sectors for over two months during 2013.
