In this section Real World Radio aims to expose the murders of social activists and the cases of death threats against leaders. We will report on the wave of criminalization of the social protest. This new section of Real World Radio is also a memorial page for all those who were murdered in their struggle for a socially just world.

Activists expose role of Dutch banks in the funding of palm oil industry development
Milieudefensie – Friends of the Earth Netherlands launched a report where they warn that Dutch Banks ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank have to take responsibility for the disastrous environmental and social consequences of providing finance to the palm oil sector at large scale. These banks should pull out of this sector, demands the organization. Read more

Six months of injustice: possible closure of case involving the attack against Russian environmental activist without finding the attackers
This Thursday 28th marks six months since the attack suffered by Russian environmental activist Andrey Rudomakha, head of the Environmental Watch on North Caucasus (EWNC), in the southern city of Krasnodar. So far no people have been detained. The organization is denouncing the lack of action by the government and the authorities in charge of investigating the case. Read more
