2013 Special Broadcasts / Foundational Assembly of ALBA Social Movements
At a crucial time for Latin America and just over two months after Hugo Chavez’s death, the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, social movements of the continent gathered around the project of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) to set the basis of their permanent coordination. The Constituent Assembly of the Coordination of Social Movements Towards ALBA will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from May 16 to 20. Real World Radio and the social movement’s communications convergence will cover the event.
