Meeting of the Alliance for the Food Sovereignty of the Peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean
The Alliance for the Food Sovereignty of the Peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, that gathers regional and continental networks around the political framework of food sovereignty, will organize a meeting and will participate at the Civil Society Consultation ahead of the FAO 34th Regional Conference (Panama City, February 19-20, 2016).
The goal of the Consultation is to discuss and develop recommendations related to the 34th Regional Conference´s agenda. Also, the organizations member of the Alliance will discuss about its operation and will agree on a mobilization and activity plan to highlight the principles of Food Sovereignty for the continent.
Real World Radio will be present covering this event to make visible the current struggles and challenges of the peasant, environmental and agroecological movements of Latin America and the Caribbean.
