    Amnesty International accuses Honduran coup perpetrators of violent repression

    While the mission of the Inter American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) is still in Honduras to document the abuses to fundamental rights perpetrated by the coup regime led by Roberto Micheletti, the renowned organization Amnesty International (AI) issued a report showing the high level of violence against the opponents of the dictatorship installed in the country in June 28th, after military officers kidnapped and deported President Manuel Zelaya.
