The work of the FoE group in the UK has been focused on the fight against climate change, the rejection to false solutions such as agrofuels and carbon markets, towards sustainable agriculture in countries all over the world.
The group, that was one of the founders of the environmentalist federation, works towards the respect of rights and justice, since without a framework based on rights there is no place to make decisions respecting the interests of all people and not of a few, protecting the environment at the same time.
This is what Asad Rehman, Friends of the Earth International Climate Campaigner in the UK, said in an interview with Real World Radio as part of
the 40th anniversary celebrations of Friends of the Earth.
